What is your hometown?

Halifax, N.S.

Why did you come to NATS?

I was laid off at my previous position, and I had always wanted to go back to school, so when that happened I figured it was meant to be, and I had seen the billboards for NATS around, so I figured I'd check it out, and the rest is history.

What were you doing before NATS?

I was a logistics coordinator for a supply company.

What is your favourite HVAC classes?

Definitely the electrical/trouble shooting, I really excelled and enjoyed that class.

What is your goal occupation upon graduation?

I would like to either work for the utility or get into industrial or commercial work.

You recently won a HVAC student competition at the CMPX, how did your training at NATS help you with this competition?

Having so much hands on training definitely help a lot, it was second nature for me at this point and having so many distractions at the competition didn't detract from my ability to do the tasks

What would you tell someone who is considering NATS as an educational option?

Do it, its definitely worth it.
